Immersive technology solutions are available\, affordable\, maturing\, and making a huge impact across manufacturing of all sizes. This session takes a big picture look at how AR is augmenting the reality for manufacturers\, including the status of immersive and related technologies\, how the technology provides the manufacturing industry opportunities in workforce development\, extending talent capacity\, as well as enable a whole new level of geolocational awareness to maintenance and operations activities. In this session we will demonstrate some practical use cases of immersive AR applications responding to some specific business needs of manufacturers. \nThis ability to “see the unseen” to manufacturing professionals is empowering them with vast additional context to their existing data sources and infrastructure information. \nWe’ll start the session with a 15 minute overview of this critical technology\, then open it up to questions and answers.
