Position Overview
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee all outbound and inbound logistics operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate shipments, maintaining inventory control, and supporting production flow. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing people and processes in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Issue and manage purchase orders for outside vendors and services
Oversee all receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
Perform and enforce quality control checks on outgoing and incoming products
Maintain accurate inventory control and stock levels
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and product preservation
Manage all shipping functions within the company’s ERP system
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and management teams
Lead and supervise up to 6 employees, ensuring productivity and accountability
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping/receiving area
Qualifications
Experience in shipping & receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of inventory control and logistics processes
Experience using an ERP system
Leadership experience managing a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (ERP, email, spreadsheets)
