The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (formerly the California Manufacturers Association) works to improve and enhance a strong business climate for California’s 30,000 manufacturing, processing and technology based companies. Since 1918, CMTA has worked with state government to develop balanced laws, effective regulations and sound public policies to stimulate economic growth and create new jobs while safeguarding the state’s environmental resources. CMTA represents 400 businesses from the entire manufacturing community — an economic sector that generates more than $230 billion every year and employs more than 1.2 million Californians.

SJVMA is a proud member of the California’s Manufacturing Network. The Network was formed and is managed by CMTC, to efficiently serve manufacturers statewide. As a member of California’s Manufacturing Network, CMTC delivers technical assistance services and resources, which address the regional challenges driven by the diverse manufacturing community. California’s Manufacturing Network is a collaboration of more than 20 organizations throughout the state, serving more than 2,000 companies annually, and adding significant economic impact for manufacturers, and communities, throughout California.

Career Nexus will help you build your workforce pipeline through supported, program-paid internships with diverse, trained and matched applicants. It is an engine to elevate business and industry by training the next generation of workforce through its unique ecosystem. Career Nexus is a collaboration of aligned employers, educators, training organizations, essential support services, and job seekers working together under shared community values. The result? Central Valley Business Federation
SJVMA is an organizational member of BizFed, who brings together associations and employers, large and small — to share information, expertise, connections and research. BizFed members use that knowledge to bring a united message to policy makers that is impossible to ignore.

City of Fresno
The City of Fresno is a key supporter of SJVMA and its incentives. City leadership supports manufacturing in the Valley with multiple different incentive programs and loan programs for business owners.
Fresno Business Council
The SJVMA is aligned with Fresno’s Community Values. As an initiative of the Fresno Business Council (FBC), SJVMA proudly operates under these values, which have served as guiding principles for regional transformation and prosperity efforts since 2000. SJVMA works on all levels with the FBC to grow future community stewards, all working collaboratively to elevate our community as a whole.
Fresno County Economic Development Corporation
Fresno County Economic Development Corporation collaborates with business, government, and civic leaders to maximize the area’s economic prosperity and global competitiveness. Fresno EDC serves local companies by aiding with expansion plans, programs to help retain business and advocating for policies that enhance the region’s economic competitiveness. The EDC collaborates with industry associations and economic development partners to develop forward-thinking approaches to the issues unique to Fresno County.
The Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board
The Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board (FRWDB) works closely with SJVMA in developing regional workforce resources. FRWDB’s Business Services Center (BSC) offers a variety of no-cost services for local businesses, such as a one stop business referral system Fresno4Biz, confidential HR Hotline, and a manufacturing consultant to assist manufacturers with their business and workforce needs.

National Association of Manufacturers
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is the largest manufacturing association in the United States, representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states.
