Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production,
packaging, inventory, and logistics. This role also oversees manufacturing support functions like quality and
maintenance. The supervisor will provide leadership to production and maintenance teams while building
strong relationships with other internal company teams, customers, and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:
• Work alongside plant personnel on a daily basis to develop employees, establish training programs, and maintain a motivated staff.
• Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs by effectively utilizing employees, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Manage production scheduling and ensure all manufactured and packaged products meet quality standards. This role requires proficiency in SAP Business One (or similar ERP System) and Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor stock turnover, conduct monthly inventories, and complete annual audits for year-end.
• Collaborate effectively with all personnel to achieve business, plant, and office objectives.
• Help Administer, maintain, and develop all required industrial and chemical safety training programs, as mandated by regulatory agencies (e.g., Haz-com, IIPP, etc.).
• Oversee all plant maintenance and repair activities. This includes managing on-site staff, coordinating with equipment service technicians, and directing process improvements and new machinery installations.
• Maintain and develop maintenance schedules for new and existing equipment.
• Able to manage production activities and direct plant production staff in the absence of the Plant Production Manager when needed.
• Handle special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Production Plant Manager or Company President.
